Malinche is a musical show for the whole family, and it stands as the crowning achievement of Nacho Cano, creator of Mecano. Malinche brings together the best of theater, the energy of a live concert, and the elegance of a contemporary ballet company.
Malinche The Musical transports us to one of the most pivotal episodes in history: the birth of mestizaje (cultural and racial blending). Malinche is an extraordinary woman who, through her courage, managed to unite two worlds. Malinche The Musical tells the story of the birth of a new culture through a love story that symbolizes the union between Mexico and Spain—a celebration of our country, our mixed heritage, and our culture.
We invite you to join this unique experience—a spectacular stage production that fuses the best melodies of Nacho Cano, creating a one-of-a-kind musical journey where flamenco, pop, and rock intertwine.
Malinche highlights the positive role of the evangelization of the Americas. The conversion of Malinche and 19 enslaved women established a precedent across the continent, laying the foundation for a series of inalienable rights.
But above all, as the great maestro Armando Manzanero once said, "Malinche is a love story and a celebration of our roots."

Did you know...?
In 1521, during the so-called Noche Triste ("Sad Night"), when the Spaniards and their allies were ambushed in Tenochtitlan, Pedro de Alvarado was the last to flee the city. To escape, he thrust a spear into the water and used it as a pole to vault over a canal, saving his life in a daring leap.
That very spot—scene of one of the most astonishing episodes in our history—is now just a few meters away from the Frontón Theater. Coincidence… or divine providence?
